<div align="center"><em><strong><small>Click above for more "official spy shots" of the 2010 Mazda3 5-door</small></strong></em><br /></div>
<br />The styling of the new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/19/la-2008-2010-mazda3-shows-its-smiling-face/">Mazda3</a> is generally pretty good, with one notable and extremely controversial element: that happy-go-lucky smiling face. Still, we've yet to get an official uncovered glimpse of the upcoming 5-door hatch, so there may still be some surprises up Mazda's sleeve. Today we discovered the odd batch of "official spy shots" straight from <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-mazda3-5-door/1178016/">the horse's mouth</a>, Mazda that is. They show the upcoming hatchback as it <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-mazda3-5-door/1177992/">sheepishly</a> plays <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-mazda3-5-door/1177994/">peek-a-boo</a> with its sedan sibling through some beautiful European scenery. From what we can tell, that blissfully chipper visage is alive and well on the 5-door. The rest of the details, unfortunately, are still pretty obscured by all that effective black vinyl clothing. <br /><br />When it finally is <a href="http://www.motivemag.com/pub/news/2010_Mazda3_Hatchback_Coming_to_Bologna_Motor_Show_in_a_Few_Weeks.shtml">debuted at the 2008 Bologna Motorshow</a> in Italy next month, the hatch's engine options should basically mirror those of the sedan's, which means the U.S. will initially get both a 148-horsepower 2.0L and a larger 167-horse 2.5L version of the MZR four cylinder engine. Could a Mazdaspeed3 be far behind? <br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-mazda3-5-door/">Spy Shots: 2010 Mazda3 5-door</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-mazda3-5-door/1177981/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/mazda3-prototype-drive_1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-mazda3-5-door/1177999/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/mazda3-prototype-drive_11_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-mazda3-5-door/1178000/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/mazda3-prototype-drive_29_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-mazda3-5-door/1178006/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/mazda3-prototype-drive_3_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-mazda3-5-door/1177989/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/mazda3-prototype-drive_4_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: Mazda Via <a href="http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2008/11/2010-mazda3-hatchback-spy-photos.html">Carscoop</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/21/spy-shots-sort-of-mazda3-five-door-hatchback/">Spy Shots (Sort of): Mazda3 five-door hatchback</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 21 Nov 2008 14:57:00 EST. <div align="center"><em><strong><small>Click above for high-res spy shots of the Audi R8 GT3</small></strong></em><br /></div>
<br />Take one Audi R8, add a pinch of Satan's dandruff (it's potent stuff) and you get this: the R8 GT3. Spy photographers have caught this racing version of Audi's R8 supercar, which itself is named after the very successful diesel-powered R8 LeMans racer, circling the famed Nurburgring in Germany. As you can see in our gallery below, it looks all business with a Boeing-sized rear wing out back and asphalt-scraping carbon fiber splitter up front. Other mods made for racing include the large vent in the "hood" behind the grille, larger air scoops in the blades behind the doors, a plexiglass rear window and significantly wider track both front and rear. Our sources tell us that the suspension is supposedly entirely stock and the quattro all-wheel-drive system has been ditched in favor of rear-wheel-drive to meet current FIA GT3 regulations. As for the engine, the 4.2L V8 has supposedly been tweaked to produce 500 horsepower (up from 420). For all its wings, vents and fender flares, this R8 GT3 prototype reportedly only managed to lap the 'Ring in 8:41.00 due to slippery-when-wet conditions. Pay attention folks, as this is the turn-key racing R8 that Audi will soon unleash on teams who wish to crash the GT3 class in style.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/audi-r8-gt3-spy-shots/">Audi R8 GT3 - spy shots</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/audi-r8-gt3-spy-shots/1166625/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/audir8gt3.21.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/audi-r8-gt3-spy-shots/1166624/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/audir8gt3.22.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/audi-r8-gt3-spy-shots/1166628/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/audir8gt3.23.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/audi-r8-gt3-spy-shots/1166627/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/audir8gt3.24.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/audi-r8-gt3-spy-shots/1166626/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/audir8gt3.25.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: KGP Photography]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/18/spy-shots-audi-r8-gt3-caught-lapping-the-ring/">Spy Shots: Audi R8 GT3 caught lapping the 'Ring</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 18 Nov 2008 13:28:00 EST. <br />The redesigned 2010 Nissan Cube will be unveiled in the U.S. tomorrow at the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/LA-Auto-Show/">LA Auto Show</a>, but Nissan's boxy little wagon is already making its way to Japanese showrooms, as evidenced by these shots of a transporter <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-cube-jdm/1166419/">loaded with them</a>. What you see here is what you'll see in LA tomorrow, only with one major difference: we'll get a <a href="http://forums.carmudgeons.com/showthread.php?t=18793">reversed version</a> of the car's asymmetrical layout. <div align="center"><em><strong><small>Click above for high-res gallery of Rolls Royce RR4 spy shots</small></strong></em><br /></div>
<br /><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/rolls-royce-rr4-spy-shots-ii/1163324/"><img vspace="4" hspace="4" border="1" align="right" alt="" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/rr4.int2.kgp.ed_opt.jpg" /></a>Development work continues on the new "entry-level" model inbound from Rolls Royce dubbed the RR4. By "entry level" we mean that the new RR4 will cost a cool $100,000 less than the Phantom, which means we should expect a price tag in the $250,000 - $280,000 range. <br /><br />Spy photographers from KGP have caught a development mule out testing and brought back the first pictures of the RR4's interior. Wood inlay can be seen on the center console and dash, which should be expected for any car costing more than your house. Also snapped were the iDrive-like controller, which we assume will use a reskinned version of the new iDrive system from the 7 Series with a few Rolls-specific tweaks, and the RR4's new steering wheel that features some interestingly integrated switchgear. The RR4 will actually ride on a version of the 2009 BMW 7 Series platform, but don't expect much parts bin sharing between the two in order to keep the Rolls as pure as possible.<br /><br />The RR4 will be aimed squarely at the Bentley Continental Flying Spur and may also spawn a coupe and convertible to compete directly with the Continental GT and GTC, respectively. We expect our first peek at the production version around the time of the Geneva Motor Show in early 2009.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/rolls-royce-rr4-spy-shots-ii/">Rolls Royce RR4 - spy shots II</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/rolls-royce-rr4-spy-shots-ii/1163329/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/rollsrr4.ld1.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/rolls-royce-rr4-spy-shots-ii/1163328/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/rollsrr4.ld2.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/rolls-royce-rr4-spy-shots-ii/1163324/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/rr4.int2.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/rolls-royce-rr4-spy-shots-ii/1163321/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/rr4.stwheel.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/rolls-royce-rr4-spy-shots-ii/1163323/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/rr4.int3.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: KGP Photography]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/17/spy-shots-rr4-interior-shows-off-new-steering-wheel-idrive-lik/">Spy Shots: RR4 interior shows off new steering wheel, iDrive-like controller</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 17 Nov 2008 14:58:00 EST. A few grainy shots have surfaced (that look more like magazine scans) showing the dash and console utilizing components pulled straight from the Mercedes-Benz parts bin. The COMMAND knob joins a steering wheel similar to the unit fitted to the AMG SL63, with a flat bottom, three spokes and directional control buttons. The HVAC controls and headlight switch look very M-B too, even if the new supercar won't end up badged a Benz. Rumors hint that the vehicle might simply be <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2008/08/06/details-emerge-on-gullwing-slc-but-no-mercedes-badge/">badged as an AMG</a>.<br /> <br />As a successor to the SLR McLaren, the SLC is expected to be powered by an AMG 6.2L V8 producing upwards of 550 hp and will share similar proportions to the Ferrari F430. Project C197, as the Gullwing SLC is internally known, is expected to make its debut at the 2010 <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/GenevaMotorShow/">Geneva Motor Show</a>, with a cloth-roofed convertible R197 version to follow a year later. While much of this could change between now and then, one thing seems certain, the car will be a true successor to the iconic Gullwing, at least in terms of the doors.<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.worldcarfans.com/9081116.012/scans-of-mercedes-slc-gullwing-interior-surface">World Car Fans</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/17/spy-shots-mercedes-benz-slc-gullwing-interior/">Spy Shots: Mercedes-Benz SLC Gullwing interior</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 17 Nov 2008 14:01:00 EST. Despite numerous rumors that Audi would get its own version of the upcoming Porsche Boxster/Cayman replacement, the decision was made to nix plans to create the mid-engine <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/AudiR4/">Audi R4</a> over fears that it would cannibalize sales from its Porsche-badged brethren. An Audi spokesperson went so far as to say that, "It was never in our product planning." Well, <em>AutoExpress</em> is reporting that <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2008/03/31/the-word-from-on-high-no-audi-r4-for-you/">tales of the R4's demise</a> have been a bit premature.<br /><br />Apparently the new mid-engined R4 is a go. It will occupy a slot in the Audi lineup above the TT and below the R8, with prices starting around &pound;35,000. Like the R8 it will be a two-seater only, available as either a coupe or roadster. <em>AutoExpress</em> even has an image of the car showing a strong familial resemblance to the big-brother R8. To distinguish it from its Porsche siblings, the Audi is said to be getting Quattro AWD and aluminum construction. Powerplants should include the full range of TFSI engines, from the 2.0L turbo, all the way up to the new supercharged and turbocharged 335-hp 2.5L five-cylinder from the TT RS. A high-performance diesel and a gas V6 are also said to be in the mix. Expect a traditional six-speed manual as standard and a seven-speed, S-tronic twin-clutch, semi-automatic as an option.<br /><br />The R4 won't appear until 2011 at the earliest, allowing Porsche time to launch the Boxster/Cayman first. If that's not enough good news for Audi fans, <em>AE</em> is also reporting that the company is planning an R6 to go head-to-head with the Jag E-Type replacement as well as the Porsche 911. The R10 has also been green-lit, giving Audi a full range of R-badged sports cars for just about any budget. However, <em>AE</em> failed to mention anything about the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/08/29/rumormill-mid-engine-audi-r3-to-replace-tt/">supposed R3</a> and its Volkswagen counterpart.<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/231048/audis-baby-r8-ready-to-roll.html">AutoExpress</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/12/mid-engine-audi-r4-back-on-the-table/">Mid-engine Audi R4 back on the table?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 12 Nov 2008 13:28:00 EST. With the relative (<em>very</em> relative) success of the new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/11/14/la-2007-the-marvelous-2009-lincoln-mks-revealed-live-video/">MKS</a> flagship, Lincoln has apparently decided that grafting the MKS mug onto the mid-size MKZ can only help, as well. Not that the old nose really needed rhinoplasty, but the entry-level luxury sedan would look out of place lacking the brand's new "Winged Grille" that debuted on the MKS and will also be seen on the upcoming <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/08/19/spy-shots-2010-lincoln-mkt/">MKT</a> three-row crossover. We don't know if a new grille is going to do the trick on its own, though we expect the MKZ to also benefit from the same across the board engine updates as the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/29/2010-ford-fusion-revealed-with-new-face-new-engines-and-new-six/">2010 Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan</a>, sans a hybrid version. All three vehicles will be unveiled at the 2008 <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/LA-Auto-Show/">LA Auto Show</a> next week, and we'll be sure to bring shots from the show floor.<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.autoobserver.com/2008/11/lincoln-updates-mkz-as-marques-sales-sputter.html">AutoObserver</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/11/spy-shot-lincoln-mkz-getting-mks-like-update/">Spy Shot: 2010 Lincoln MKZ getting MKS-like update</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 11 Nov 2008 15:59:00 EST. <br />After a year of renderings, rumors and spy shots, Nissan finally provided an <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/29/officially-official-nissan-drops-370z-ahead-of-la-debut/">official glimpse</a> of the new 370Z. Unfortunately, the only images released were a few computer-generated stills and a handful of <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/30/video-nissan-370z-in-need-for-speed-undercover/">screen captures from the next Need for Speed game</a>. Now, we've gotten our hands on the first live pics of the Nissan 370Z, captured at an undisclosed event ahead of its reveal at the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/LAAutoShow/">LA Auto Show</a> later this month. <br /><br />While the CG images give us a general idea of the shapes employed on the new Z, it's not until you lay eyes on a few live shots (or better yet, see it in person) to let the details sink in. The new head and taillight treatments are sure to be divisive, but the new 3.7-liter V6 - rumored to put out around 330 hp - can't be argued with.<em> Thanks for the tip, Matt!</em><br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z-uncloaked/">2010 Nissan 370Z uncloaked</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z-uncloaked/1141120/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/01_nissan-370z-uncloaked_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z-uncloaked/1141122/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/02_nissan-370z-uncloaked_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z-uncloaked/1141121/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/03_nissan-370z-uncloaked_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.the370z.com/">the370.com</a> via <a href="http://370ztech.com/nissan-370z/first-real-world-pics-of-the-370z-surface">370Ztech.com</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/05/first-real-world-pics-of-nissan-370z-surface/">First real world pics of Nissan 370Z surface</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 05 Nov 2008 21:01:00 EST. Still not exactly a beautiful proposition, it could just be that the car looks better in silver and black than it does in purple. If that's the final grille, it loses a crossbar from the current E-Class. And frankly, we wouldn't mind seeing it with that whopping emblem on the new C-Class front and center for some aggression. This could be a car where wheel choice -- and AMG package -- make all the difference. Not that it matters much, because it's an E-Class. It's going to sell like crazy no matter what.<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://globalmotors.net/2009-2010-mercedes-benz-e-class-sedan-spied-with-less-disguise/">Global Motors</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/31/spy-shots-mercedes-e-class/">Spy Shots: Mercedes E-Class</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 31 Oct 2008 08:31:00 EST. <br />Ford's agonizingly slow reveal of the 2010 Mustang continues today with the fourth last teaser image revealed to be the lower part of the center console and full view of the gear shift. The short shifter with the metal ball grip can be seen rising from its leather boot in a chrome-trimmed rectangular recess, while buttons for the trunk release, traction control and hazard lights are embedded close by. We also see the HVAC controls are situated at the bottom of the center stack (seat warmers, yay!) below the stereo controls. There are only three more locked slots left to reveal on Ford's <a href="http://www.fordvehicles.com/the2010mustang/">mini-site for the 2010 Mustang</a> before the car itself is revealed in full at the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/LA-Auto-Show/">LA Auto Show</a> next month. Spy shots have mostly given up the goods on both the new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-ford-mustang-gt-spy-shots-vi/1106985/">exterior</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-ford-mustang-interior-spy-shots-ii/1044631/">interior</a> (see <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/30/latest-2010-ford-mustang-teaser-reveals-more-of-center-console/">after the jump</a>), but we still want to see the damn thing in person and some high-res glamour shots of its best angles. Stay tuned, they're coming.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-ford-mustang-teased/">2010 Ford Mustang Teased</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-ford-mustang-teased/1156284/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/2010mustangtaillight_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-ford-mustang-teased/1140455/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/2010_mustang_centerstack_large_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-ford-mustang-teased/1029125/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/01_2010_mustang_tease_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-ford-mustang-teased/1029128/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/02_2010_mustang_tease_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-ford-mustang-teased/1029129/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/03_2010_mustang_tease_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.fordvehicles.com/the2010mustang/">Ford</a>]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/30/latest-2010-ford-mustang-teaser-reveals-more-of-center-console/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Latest 2010 Ford Mustang teaser reveals more of center console</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/30/latest-2010-ford-mustang-teaser-reveals-more-of-center-console/">Latest 2010 Ford Mustang teaser reveals more of center console</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 30 Oct 2008 15:27:00 EST. Arguably, it's better looking than the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/28/spy-shots-panamera-mule-close-ups-still-looks-hmmm/">Panamera prototypes</a> currently racking up more frequent flier miles than the Travelocity gnome. But we think it will take up all kinds of awkward space in your pocket and won't play nice with other keys. Perhaps Porsche should offer a man bag with every Panamera purchase.<br /><br />However, we are in love with the Panamera interior. In. Love. <a href="http://www.teamspeed.com/forums/cayenne-panamera/12687-panamera-interior-pics.html#post162622">Click here</a> to check out new pics of it over at TeamSpeed. Yes, there are a lot of buttons, but that shouldn't surprise anyone who's been in a Porsche lately. And the buttons are <em>caliente</em>. We'd also prefer a gate instead of the shifter on a moonball, which reminds us of a Volvo, but so what? That's the kind of interior we've been waiting for in a Porsche since the 993. So Porsche, you can put us on the list for a Panamera, because we don't have to see the outside from the inside. We'll just need to get pants with bigger pockets. <em>Thanks for the tip, DJ. </em><br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-spy-shots/">Porsche Panamera - spy shots</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-spy-shots/305870/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/07/panamera.pr.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-spy-shots/305869/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/07/panamera.fe.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-spy-shots/305868/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/07/panamera.re.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-spy-shots/305867/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/07/panamera.fc.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-spy-shots/305866/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/07/panamera.rc.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.teamspeed.com/forums/cayenne-panamera/12687-panamera-interior-pics.html#post162622">TeamSpeed</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/30/porsche-panamera-key-looks-like-porsche-panamera/">Porsche Panamera key looks like... That might be a good thing if anyone has really decided they need a stretched X6. Based on the X6's slower-than-expected U.S. sales, maybe the extra room is what people are waiting for, and the trifecta for this latest niche-creating could be: not quite car, not quite SUV, lots o' room. <div align="center"><em><strong><small>Click above for gallery of 2010 Lexus RX leaked shots</small></strong></em><br /></div>
<br />Thanks to an astute Autoblog tipster, we have our very first look at the upcoming redesigned 2010 Lexus RX ahead of its official unveiling at the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/LA-Auto-Show/">LA Auto Show</a> next month. As you can see in the gallery below, which show shots from what appears to be a Japanese brochure, the new RX will retain the same basic shape and styling cues as the current model, but has been gone over with some fine grit sandpaper to smooth out the rough edges. In traditional Lexus fashion, while the new RX may look similar to the old one, we're absolutely certain every body panel is all new. The redesigned interior also features a seriously swoopy dash. <br /><br />The new RX is also rumored to be larger than the current model with a longer wheelbase that may accommodate a third row of seating for the first time. We expect a revised version of the current model's 3.5L V6 to be offered, probably with more power and better fuel economy, as well as a new version of the RX400h hybrid. Take a look at the sneak preview in the gallery below and let us know what you think in the comments. <em>Thanks for the tip, Stan!<br /><br /></em><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-lexus-rx-leaked-shots/">2010 Lexus RX - leaked shots</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-lexus-rx-leaked-shots/1126145/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/00rxleak_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-lexus-rx-leaked-shots/1126144/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/01rxleak_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-lexus-rx-leaked-shots/1126143/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/02rxleak_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-lexus-rx-leaked-shots/1126142/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/03rxleak_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-lexus-rx-leaked-shots/1126146/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/04rxleak_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><em></em><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/29/2010-lexus-rx-revealed-early-in-japanese-brochure/">2010 Lexus RX revealed early in Japanese brochure</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 29 Oct 2008 16:30:00 EST. <br />The crew from KGP have finally caught the MINI Crossover/Crossman/Maxi undergoing testing and its acid-inspired duds aren't the only things BMW is employing to confuse our shooters.<br /><br />The cloaked headlamps hide a new set of eyes inspired by the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/02/paris-2008-mini-crossover-concept/">Crossover concept that bowed in Paris</a>, while the funky side door arrangement has been dropped in favor of a more traditional set of hinged openings. On first glance, the rear appears to mimic the barn door arrangement fitted to the Clubman, but closer inspection reveals that the hatch is only bisected by some well-placed vinyl, giving the illusion of two doors. Looking at the tail lamps and crease ahead of the spoiler, it appears that the MINI CUV will be using a traditional top-hinged hatch - a welcome addition considering the compromised rear view of the Clubman.<br /><br />Expect naturally aspirated and turbocharged 1.6-liter engines pulled from the standard MINI to be offered, along with all-wheel-drive, when the MINI Crossover hits the market late next year.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-mini-suv/">Spy Shots: MINI SUV</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-mini-suv/1125831/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/01_mini_suv_1_spy_kgp_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-mini-suv/1125833/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/02_mini_suv_1_spy_kgp_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-mini-suv/1125832/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/03_mini_suv_1_spy_kgp_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-mini-suv/1125834/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/04_mini_suv_1_spy_kgp_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-mini-suv/1125835/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/05_mini_suv_1_spy_kgp_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/mini-crossover-concept/">MINI Crossover Concept</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/mini-crossover-concept/1029028/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/01_mini_crossover_high_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/mini-crossover-concept/1029033/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/02_mini_crossover_high_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/mini-crossover-concept/1029035/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/03_mini_crossover_high_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/mini-crossover-concept/1029029/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/04_mini_crossover_high_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/mini-crossover-concept/1029036/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/05_mini_crossover_high_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/29/spy-shots-mini-suv-crossover-caught-messing-with-perception/">Spy Shots: MINI SUV/Crossover caught messing with perception</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 29 Oct 2008 16:01:00 EST. <div align="center"><em><strong><small>Click above for a high-res gallery of the Suzuki Kizashi</small></strong></em><br /></div>
<br />When the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/03/20/new-york-2008-suzuki-unveils-kizashi-3-concept-coming-in-2010/">Suzuki Kizashi 3 concept bowed in New York</a>, we were smitten by the sedan's aggressive lines and low-slung stance. But after seeing some <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/11/euro-patent-drawings-reveal-suzuki-kizashi/">rudimentary patent drawings</a> of the production model, we were seriously concerned that everything we loved about Suzuki's new sedan would be lost in translation. Finally, some glimmer of hope has arrived.<br /><br />KGP caught a Kizashi mule in Germany before it set off on its mandatory 'Ring run, and with a modicum of camo and some artfully placed tape, the prototype laid most of our concerns to rest.<br /><br />Although the exaggerated shape and massive fender flares of the concept has been eschewed for something a bit more sedate, the majority of the lines remain, along with the sculpted headlamps and broad rear shoulders. Unfortunately, things begin to go slightly awry in the rear, where the chunky C-pillar and 1-series look-alike lights join an upkicked trunk and a bulbous bumper. But overall, our gripes are minor, and with power rumored to be provided by either a 300 hp, 3.6-liter DOHC V6 driving all four wheels or a 2.5-liter four-cylinder putting power down to the front rollers, we think this might be the first in a string of new models from Suzuki that could finally bring it up to par with its cross-town competitors in Japan.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-suzuki-kizashi-in-germany/">Spy Shots: Suzuki Kizashi in Germany</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-suzuki-kizashi-in-germany/1123805/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/01_kizashi_10_kgp_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-suzuki-kizashi-in-germany/1123809/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/02_kizashi_10_kgp_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-suzuki-kizashi-in-germany/1123806/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/03_kizashi_10_kgp_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-suzuki-kizashi-in-germany/1123807/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/04_kizashi_10_kgp_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-suzuki-kizashi-in-germany/1123808/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/05_kizashi_10_kgp_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/suzuki-kizashi-3-concept-live-reveal/">Suzuki Kizashi 3 Concept - Live Reveal</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/suzuki-kizashi-3-concept-live-reveal/711312/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/00_kizashi3live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/suzuki-kizashi-3-concept-live-reveal/711311/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/01_kizashi3live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/suzuki-kizashi-3-concept-live-reveal/711310/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/02_kizashi3live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/suzuki-kizashi-3-concept-live-reveal/711315/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/03_kizashi3live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/suzuki-kizashi-3-concept-live-reveal/711307/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/04_kizashi3live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/28/spy-shots-suzuki-kizashi-spied-in-germany/">Spy Shots: Suzuki Kizashi spied in Germany</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 28 Oct 2008 17:02:00 EST. We don't know what could be so challenging in the city by the bay that Porsche would take a huge mule fleet to a crowded city center, but needless to say there have been a lot of pictures taken. This particular lensman was even able to spend enough close up time with a curbside model that he got tire sizes (F: 255/40 R20, R: 285/40 R20), a description of the dash, and pictures of the ceramic brakes. We won't even say anything about how the car looks. Have a look at the 15 shots for yourself and see if you feel any differently about it. <em>Thanks to everyone who sent in tips!</em><br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.roadfly.com/porsche-panamera-gt.html">Roadfly</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/28/spy-shots-panamera-mule-close-ups-still-looks-hmmm/">Spy Shots: Panamera mule close-ups... still looks... hmmm...</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 28 Oct 2008 09:30:00 EST. While <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/30/rendered-speculation-2009-mercedes-clk/">this rendering</a> looks like it could still be pretty accurate, the front fog lights have given way to LED's, which are lit in this latest round of images. The extended trunk deck lid <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/08/01/spy-shots-2010-mercedes-benz-clk/">we've seen before</a>, but now we get a close-up and the strong crease line that bisects the rear of the car. It also looks to get a bit fussy back there because the trunk is distinct from the body panel that hides the roof. We'll know more when the car goes hits the show circuit next year, but this car could be more than a little revolutionary. <br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://globalmotors.net/next-generation-mercedes-benz-clk-cabrio-spotted/">Global Motors</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/27/spy-shots-2009-mercedes-clk-cabrio/">Spy Shots: 2009 Mercedes CLK Cabrio</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 27 Oct 2008 17:59:00 EST. Yet M-B head man Dieter Zetsche said the car isn't going away, so as one does with continuing product, the R-Class is getting some face and tail work done. Those who whisper about such things indicate that the car will end up looking more like the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/03/17/mercedes-gives-b-class-a-facelift-natural-gas/">B-Class</a>. We're not sure that will help it, since it looks much like the B-Class already and that car isn't exactly a looker, either. We think the R might be better served if Mercedes could explain why anyone should choose it over the E-Class wagon or GL-Class SUVs... and when the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/03/pics-aplenty-mercedes-benz-glk-vision-glk-freeside/">GLK</a> arrives, well, good luck to you, R-Class.<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://globalmotors.net/why-mercedes-benz-gives-r-class-a-facelift/">Global Motors</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/27/spy-shots-r-class-facelift/">Spy Shots: R-Class facelift</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 27 Oct 2008 10:29:00 EST. Just check out those rows of steel studs along the hood, roof and trunk. Perhaps bouyed by the historic executive branch runs of Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin, the newest chapter of this apocalyptic anecdote could see the Mad Max reins being handed over to a woman. Spotted proudly piloting this studded silver V6 'Stang, we've dubbed her "Mad Maxine." Just like the car, the driver transformation hadn't been completed yet, but she definitely looked the part with her steely gaze and guard dog companion. Whatever it is, we got a kick out of this personalized pony. One word of advice though -- if you see this in your rearview mirror, kindly move aside. Come to think of it, it doesn't look too pedestrian-friendly either...<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/mad-maxine-mustang/">Mad Maxine Mustang</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/mad-maxine-mustang/1115856/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/madmaxinemustang---1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/mad-maxine-mustang/1115855/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/madmaxinemustang---3_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/mad-maxine-mustang/1115854/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/madmaxinemustang---2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/25/spotted-mad-maxine-mustang/">Spotted: Mad Maxine Mustang</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sat, 25 Oct 2008 11:39:00 EST. <br />The Lexus RX is one of the most successful luxury crossovers of the past decade, with sales doubling or even tripling that of its competition. Remarkably, the RX has achieved its considerable success without a major overhaul, but that will change when the next gen RX is unveiled this November in LA. Details on the new RX have been scarce to this point, but we can be sure that a hybrid version will continue to be available and that a plug-in version is a possibility.<br /><br />The RX is also expected to grow by around five inches, just like its Highlander sibling, though Lexus will likely use the extra room to improve rear passenger leg room. We've seen spy shots showing more evolutionary styling changes, along with a few cues pulled from the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/LFxh/">LF-xh</a> concept, with tweaks to the front and rear fascias and a curvier C-Pillar.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/lexus-lf-xh-concept/">Lexus LF-Xh concept</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/lexus-lf-xh-concept/453523/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/lexus_lf-xh_live_13_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/lexus-lf-xh-concept/453522/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/lexus_lf-xh_live_14_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/lexus-lf-xh-concept/453521/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/lexus_lf-xh_live_15_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/lexus-lf-xh-concept/453520/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/lexus_lf-xh_live_16_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/lexus-lf-xh-concept/453519/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/lexus_lf-xh_live_17_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://blogs.thecarconnection.com/blogs/marty_blog/2010/2010-lexus-rx-coming-to-the-la-auto-show/">The Car Connection</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/24/2010-lexus-rx-coming-to-la-auto-show/">2010 Lexus RX coming to LA Auto Show</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 24 Oct 2008 17:32:00 EST.
